Twitch introduced Stream Recaps on 20 October, giving creators a way to package highlights from a broadcast for followers who missed it. The recaps appear near the top of followers’ mobile feeds and on the creator’s channel page. [1]

Creators can assemble a recap through Stream Summary or the mobile app. Clips made by the creator and their editors are included by default, with controls to add, remove or edit the selection. Twitch also announced a later promotion opportunity on other social platforms, but said details would follow. [1]

TCE’s view

For a sponsored stream, agree which moments should remain useful after the live session ends. A recap can preserve a product demonstration or audience question, provided the excerpt keeps the context and any sponsorship disclosure. Treat it as an additional deliverable when planning the brief.

Sources and context

Twitch has not detailed the later promotion offer. This announcement does not establish how much additional reach a recap will receive.
