YouTube announced a package of creator-business updates at Made on YouTube on 23 September. The company says Ask Studio will soon help creators prepare responses to brand briefs and develop pitches. These are announced capabilities, not evidence that every creator can use them today. [1]

YouTube also plans to bring its Shopping affiliate programme to 35 countries by the end of 2026. Its announcement says product tags now adapt offers to a viewer’s location. The country expansion is a target for later this year, not the current availability count. [1]

TCE’s view

Campaign teams should separate creator selection from commerce eligibility. Before putting a new tool into a brief, check access for the creator’s account and the audience’s market. A product recommendation still needs a relevant offer and a working purchase path.
